팍세에서 자동차로 약 1시간여 거리에 위치하고 있는 

팍송 지역의 볼라벤고원은

해발1.000미터의 고산 위 대평원으로

라오스 최대의 커피산지로 잘 알려진 곳입니다.

특히 매년 2월과 3월에는 하얀 커피꽃이

10월과 11월에는 빨간 커피체리가

각각 드넓은 고원 위를 물들이며 장관을 이루고 있어

그 아름다움이 퍽이나 인상적인 곳입니다. 

또한 팍세에서 팍송까지는 볼라벤이 만들어 낸 

크고 작은 폭포들이 매우 아름다워

볼라벤을 찾는 여행객들의 감탄사를 부르고 있는 코스입니다.

Especially in February and March, white coffee flowers

In October and November, red coffee cherries
